Great pizza starts with great sauce, and that's exactly what makes this pizza different. Instead of relying on traditional pizza sauce alone, Horn & Heat Rhino Gold Hot Sauce is blended directly into the tomato sauce, creating a bold, flavorful base that carries every bite. The result isn't just a spicy pizza—it's a pizza where the sauce becomes the star.

After baking, creamy burrata, delicate ribbons of prosciutto, and fresh micro arugula are layered over the hot crust, creating the perfect contrast of warm and cool, rich and fresh. Every bite delivers the bright, medium heat of Rhino Gold balanced by creamy cheese and savory prosciutto. It's simple, elegant, and proof that hot sauce belongs in the cooking process—not just on the table.

Ingredients

    blank

    • 8 ounces prepared pizza sauce

    • 3/4 cup Horn & Heat Rhino Gold Hot Sauce
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    blank

    • 1 pound prepared pizza dough (store-bought or homemade- See recipe below)

    • 8 ounces burrata cheese

    • 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto

    • 1 cup fresh micro arugula

    • Extra Horn & Heat Rhino Gold Hot Sauce, for finishing (optional)

    Directions

      blank

      1. In a small bowl, whisk together the pizza sauce, Horn & Heat Rhino Gold Hot Sauce, oregano, and garlic powder until smooth and well combined.
      2. Set aside while preparing the pizza.

      blank

      1. Preheat your oven to 500°F, or as hot as your oven safely allows. If using a pizza stone or steel, place it in the oven while it preheats.
      2. Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch round and place it on a lightly floured pizza peel or baking sheet.

      blank

      1. Spread an even layer of the Rhino Gold Pizza Sauce over the dough, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edge for the crust.
      2. Because the burrata is added after baking, no additional cheese is needed before the pizza goes into the oven.

      blank

      1. Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the sauce is bubbling.
      2. Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for 2–3 minutes.

      blank

      1. Tear the burrata into generous pieces and distribute it evenly across the hot pizza.

      2. Layer the prosciutto over the burrata, allowing the residual heat to gently soften the meat without cooking it.

      3. Finish with the fresh micro arugula.

      4. If desired, add one final light drizzle of Horn & Heat Rhino Gold Hot Sauce before slicing and serving.
